We’re recruiting a Senior Software Engineer to manage our development and improve our product offering. You will manage the software development team and closely collaborate with product and business development teams. Your purpose is to lead Repli5’s software development team to create valuable tools for our in-house artists, as well as external users of our software.

Responsibility

• Lead part of our development team to ensure we grow effectively and efficiently as a company. You will be essential in planning the team’s short and long-term efforts, as well as actively managing our backlog.
• Contribute to the development of software focused on automating the creation of synthetic worlds and environments.
• Write high-quality code with an emphasis on performance and ease of maintenance.
• Regularly communicate and collaborate with business and product development, as well as with external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor/master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a similar field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Confident programming in C++ and Python.
• Fluent in English and excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Desired Skills, Interests, or Experiences

• While not being direct requirements, familiarity with any of the points below is highly valued:
• Experience as a product owner or in close collaboration with business development or product development teams.
• DevOps skill set with the ability to improve existing development platforms and CI / CD flows.
• Knowledge of 3D computer graphics software tools, algorithms, and data structures related to geometry processing and computational geometry.
• Geographic information systems (GIS) and data such as OSM or GeoTIFF.Sensor technologies used within autonomous driving contexts. E.g. RGB cameras, LiDAR, or RADAR sensors.
• Simulators used within the development of autonomous systems
